wallpaper instructions
1) You need to know the resolution (desktop area) of your monitor that Windows 95/98 is using. To find this, right-click on the desktop area of your computer. Then, click on Properties. After that, click on the folder that says Settings. In that window, there should be a slider that says Desktop Area. The most common choices are 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768. This number is the resolution of your screen. This number is what you need to remember. 2) If you find a wallpaper you like on this site, click on the resolution (what you found in step 1) beside the thumbnail of the picture you want. 3) When the picture completely loads (it might take a minute or two for the larger images), right-click on the picture. Then select, 'Set As Wallpaper.' This should work with later versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. Please note that this wallpaper area (by it's nature) is very graphics intensive. It takes time for the wallpaper to load. Please be patient. |
