Armageddon by John Sherritt (John's bio) Send this page to a friend suspended embrace. Grey clouds circling, decaying space. Cattle lowing, whites of eyes, stomachs inside out. Fortunate souls listen to lies whispered dead in their sleep. Day is lost in endless night, while evil rules with Satan's might. Fevered moans, blistered sores Smell of death seeping out of pores. Waiting for daylight to bring a new Knight, astride a white horse, bleeding remorse. Fists clenched with fury, His sword honed with truth. Hunting the beast as both judge and jury. To settle the score, and bind up the evil, healing the wounds of all of God's people. To bring a new land, a new life, a new dream. Come to release us, Our Savior Jesus.
