Voices give rise
to dreams,
dreams of yesterday,
or tomorrow,
no feelings attached.
The night sky covers all
with a blanket of forgiveness,
or maybe sorrow
depending on the day.
Maybe the best time to die,
if there were such a thing,
would be at night,
with no excuses,
no voices,
just dreams,
and God
