Love by John Sherritt (John's bio) Send this page to a friend In Scripture we're told. But when love bends Other feelings enfold. Jealous aside, Slanderous word Vengeful, hurt pride Accusations heard. Read the letters of Paul The message is loud True love bears all Neither petty nor proud Love is not selfish Keeping record of wrong Love should replenish Growing hearts strong, To reflect on God's plan, His blueprint for life He created the man To become one with his wife. Love is patient, and love is kind Love wears no disguise Love brings peace of mind, Leaving no room for lies. If a man has not love He is completely alone No help from above Heart hard as a stone Give God all your strife Anger and blame Letting peace in your life Make love your aim
