The Fourth Gospel by John Sherritt (John's bio) Send this page to a friend the day we all pay for cold hearts and minds, striking favor to pray. John tells us sin kindles alienation from God, hope sinking, flame dwindles, till Jesus we laud. John shows us the wilderness, wounded voice, cry sent. To stay all transgress, season of repent. John allowed us a way for reaching decision, find yearning to stay in God's Holy vision. A theology of life, John's gift to the Church, mending division and strife, love's unity the search. John preached a new message, revelation to the world. God's plan, the last vestige, salvation's banner unfurled. The beloved disciple, his prophetic zeal healing Spiritual blindness with gentle appeal. John wrote the fourth Gospel with the Lamb in his heart. God used him to tell of Christianity's start.
