The Blame Game
by Peggy McIlveene (Peggy's bio)

Send this page to a friend

When Eve took the fruit from the tree,
and took a little bite,
she thought she'd gain great knowledge
and a little more insight.

She shared it with her soul mate,
and Adam also ate some.
And when God asked about it,
the "blame game" had begun.

Eve blamed it on the serpent,
Adam blamed it on Eve.
God blamed it on all 3 of them,
for they had ALL deceived!

We should each look to ourselves,
when we at first do wrong.
And ask the Lord's forgiveness,
then our heart'll sing a song!
