Lord of Light

Only you, the Father of Light, can repair the discarded shards,
With your powerful, binding love.
Enfold me in your protection and guide me to your throne.
Let me dance with joy as your healing touch
Gently weaves love into my life.
Shine your light of truth in my heart
And melt away all destructive tendencies
That hinder my growth in you Father!
Lead me, O Lord, deeper into your divine light
That I may understand the truth of life, that is you.
Fill me with the strength to endure this life.
Grant me understanding in this confused society,
Wisdom in this foolish world,
And humbleness in this arrogant age.
For you are the everlasting Lord of Light
And Author of Life!
