I Am A Beautiful Butterfly

I am a beautiful butterfly.
But I once was a caterpillar.
I can testify that God's love transformed me.
I got my wings through the grace of God.
Look at me now!!
I can now soar over life's cares.
Believe me my wings came through the grace of God.
I am not strong; I am disabled
And I am not rich; I am a welfare recipient.
Once I lived in disgrace of my past mistakes.
But God told me different.
He said, "All I see is a beautiful butterfly waiting to take off."
I began to soar through the clouds.
Sometimes soaring is not as easy as it looks.
But God gave me a compass.
It is pointing north when the sign posted reads: Matthew 6:33
"Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well."
God gave me two other gadgets,
the Holy Spirit and the Bible.
I carry the Holy Spirit in me and never have to take it out.
This helps me to discern the darkness from the light.
I know if I go in the dark,
I will just crash so I soar away quickly and quietly away.
The Bible holds the keys to life.
