Song of Verses and Choruses
by Kaly (Kaly's bio)

Somewhere I know there's
another place
and another time where all
my memories can soothe and smoothe
like a lake
and those birds that mate for life
gentle, sleek and true
oh, how I do wish I could hear the chick
chick of the little creature
that echoes outside my doorstep

Hallowed be Thy Name

Eagles are scavengers by nature
bald as a billiard, no?
It seems right to have nests
that overlook valleys 'cause
I've seen you there but I always
wonder what your piercing eyes
reveal of me all naked and alone

Hallowed be Thy Name

It's like a grimace smile from a
female who ponders no lonely days
no lonely days and wonders
and we all go about and we shout
and we dance into yesterday oh but
that valley.....and that bird

Hallowed be Thy Name

I think I remember colors...
do I recall them? Are they.....
let's see.....maybe there's a way to remember
because I was at these waterfalls and
it was so tall and the bridge was
just perfect and their cameras
shuttered with mist in their eyes.

Hallowed be Thy Name

You Are. Is. I remember the black
and the white and the silt-dust and how
you bade me to come to Thee
and I knew You dwelt in rivers
but especially lakes 'cause lakes
have their own dust and those birds
that mate for life

Hallowed be Thy Name

oh but I do giggle and laugh at
big birds of noble wing who
have their place, their place
sometimes bunches in fields
I recall tulips.....and yes,
daffodils with so much sun
shining on their tips

Hallowed be Thy Name

There's a shore of sea grasses
and sometimes I walk there and sit
with the creation because there is
no other way I can reach you
because it's only in the rhythm
of the sea that I can find you
and warm myself in the sand
you polish and create

Hallowed be Thy Name

Salty tears. I don't suppose that's a
coincidence because I only see
through that veil and only after
I've muddied the view and
it would be so much simpler to
create us on a lake and give us wings
and feathers and colors that
make sense

Hallowed be Thy Name

Finally I settle and breathe
salty air I've helped return the
salt to that water, you know.
Floods and waterfalls are so abundant
redundant but so necessary 'cause
well, my vision is only in a little
shaker of time but You,
You have created salt and gift
me with a pure moment of joy

Hallowed be Thy Name
