Color Ties by Kaly (Kaly's bio) maybe a cinnamon roll all warm with butter and you both were there And I loved you. you had something I could see that....something I only talked of in my mind but was unable to unwind. And, I trusted you, too. I was nudged to enter, to ask for Your presence to know You a different way and You led us to a park to play And I knew You were there. The river creek ambled politely awaiting the warmth of Your breath Your wind delicately caressing its gentle rocked waves blessing And they prayed. I tried to unravel the You inside me tried to let go of me to You; then, your color ties swept inside like a breeze of blazing suns in stride And, we prayed together. Yellows, reds, oranges...every hue of the Spirit's radiance came down to settle; still, I could not utter And, we stayed there awhile with You. Daily, I pondered Your lights and read how You blew sweetness and rested Your gifts upon those who sought Your wisdom And, I stayed on the Word, and spoke: Such joy, such gentle joy as I could hardly describe alone in my shelter with You to guide, You to give me the Words I could not give You, O my Lord..... And, the Spirit intercedes... Your fire dwells in me ~~~ Kaly 5/25/00
