Chin draggin' on my feet
No way God can hear me
Cause life has got me beat
Can God see in me
His promise
To be
His kid for eternity?
Listening hard
To hear his voice
Could it be
That God hears me?
He picks me up
And pulls me tight
His nail-scarred hands
Making me right
One step
at a time
God's mercy
making
His heartbeat mine
