GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS
Would you like to write for crosshome either as a regular columnist or as an occasional submitter? Then please follow these guidelines and perhaps we will use your writing. If you have any questions or would like to submit your writing after reading these guidelines, please e-mail us at: webmaster@crosshome.com
There are also specific guidelines for a few specialty writing submissions found on the following pages:
1. All writers must agree to crosshome's Statement of Faith found here:

2. crosshome cannot pay for the use of any writing used on crosshome. We wish it was otherwise, but our advertising does not pull in enough income to pay writers.
3. All writers will retain all rights to their writing. The copyright notice included with your writing will be in the form:
Copyright 2002, John Doe. All rights reserved. Used with permission.
4. crosshome does archive all writing for the benefit of our readers, but any submission can be deleted by request of the author by sending an e-mail to: webmaster@crosshome.com
5. Writing submissions should fit the topics of our current channels. Please take a look at the different sections of crosshome to determine if your writing would fit a specific channel. We are willing to consider starting new channels if your writing doesn't fit our current channels, but your writing must be superb and you must agree to write on a regular basis (at least twice-monthly) before we consider starting a new channel.
6. If you are desiring to contribute a recurring column (weekly or twice-monthly) to crosshome, please e-mail us:
- A brief summary of your idea for a column
- A possible title for your column
- 5-10 topics of future articles for your column
- A 30-60 word bio including church affiliation
- Any e-mail address or web page address you would like to be included in your bio
- Which crosshome channel the column should be included in
- Statement declaring that you own the rights to the work and year of copyright
7. If you are desiring to submit a one-time article, please e-mail us:
- The article which must follow all the guidelines on this page
- The title of the article
- A 30-60 word bio including church affiliation
- Any e-mail address or web page address you would like to be included in your bio
- Which crosshome channel the article should be included in
- Statement declaring that you own the rights to the work and year of copyright
8. Any Bible quotations must be properly referenced (example: 1 Corinthians 5:17). We prefer the following translations: King James Version (KJV), New King James Version (NKJV), New International Version (NIV), and New American Standard Bible (NASB).
9. All writing must be relevant to a general Christian audience. Denomination-specific articles will not be accepted.
10. All articles must be between 300-1000 words.
11. When sending articles, Word attachments are fine, either in .doc or .rtf format.
12. We will contact you within 1-3 weeks if your writing is accepted.
