Dear God

by Jennifer Harman, Age 20

Send this page to a friend

Dear God,

Thank you for always giving me hope. You truly are an awesome God! Whenever I try to contemplate all that you've made, I'm left in awe.  I look at the mountains and I see your glory. I think of all the animals that you knit together individually. I look at the sun and wonder about how bright the light of God really is. I look in awe at the trees, flowers, and grass that you planted and wonder what more you could have made for us in Heaven. I think about the power that placed each star in the sky. You truly take my breath away. I am your creation--placed together to hold my soul. Thank you, God, for making me. May all that I do glorify you,

Sincerely,
Jennifer

(Note: Jennifer's story is featured in the book, “Real Teens, Real Stories, Real Life”. Just after Jennifer's high school graduation, she dove into a lake and hit the bottom at three feet deep and broke her neck. Jennifer shares her honest struggles in her life and faith.

“Dear God” is Jennifer's journey. It is honest. It shares her doubts, her fears, and the days when God is so real that she is in awe. She invites you to join her as she explores her growing faith. No answers, no preaching, but simple words from the heart of a college student who loves God. You can send your comments to Jennifer at Threefeetdeep@aol.com )
