Eyes of Elisha Brandilyn Collins Zondervan Publishing House ISBN: 0310239680 Paperback. 400 pages. Review by Jason Mitchener (Read Jason's bio) Send this page to a friend Chelsea Adams witnesses a murder. Her husband doesn't believe her. The police don't believe her. I would probably even have a hard time believing her. Adams is not the typical murder witness since she "saw" the murder in a vision from God. Brandilyn Collins blesses us with her new suspense novel Eyes of Elisha, an exciting twist-filled quest for a murderer. You might want to set aside some time to read this book, since you're not going to want to put it down. Collins knows how to sculpt her scenes so expertly that I wouldn't be surprised to see a movie version of Eyes of Elisha in the future. Indeed, this may be the very type of story that could thrust the Christian film industry into the limelight. The story combines the gritty realism of a murder thriller with the honest portrayal of Christian faith. Collins' characters remind us that Christians may have faults, but those faults shouldn't diminish our perception of God. From police investigation to courtroom drama, Eyes of Elisha has many of the elements that keep fans coming back to buy more books from authors like John Grisham. Expect to see this book on Christian fiction bestseller lists. But better yet, see it in your hands, as you become another fan of Brandilyn Collins.
